Dosage and Indication
For Type 2 Diabetes:
For Type 2 Diabetes:
- Initial dose: 25 mg taken orally every 8 hours when eating (the first bite of food eaten and drunk drugs)
- The dose can be increased to 50 or 100 mg orally every 8 hours with a distance of 4-8 weeks based on the value of sugar 1 hour after eating or glycosylated hemoglobin levels (HbA1c), or the oral glucose tolerance test value per physician
The maximum dose:
- Patients with body weight <60 kg: 50 mg every 8 hours
- Patients with body weight> 60 kg: 100 mg every 8 hours
